NCTCOG Mobility 2035 Planning Meeting

02/08/2010 – The Mad Duck Crew attended the Mobility 2035 public meeting.  This meeting was held at the Ft Worth Intermodal Transportation Center.  The meeting was designed to give basic priority reviews and seek public input. 

If you have a chance, please go to the NCTCOG website and take the transportation survey.  This is your chance to make sure your voice is heard in setting transportation priorities, and bicycling is represented here.  For the survey click here.

We did make sure that bicycles were a topic, as did some others who   attended.  The NCTCOG (North Central Texas Council of Governments) is the planning organization that coordinates transportation across the cities and counties in our region.  They also control the allocation of funding for the region, so please attend any NCTCOG meetings and make sure bicycles are accounted for….and look for the Duck crew at these meeting!
